Abstract
General education, as a kind of educational ideology, aims at cultivating students’ harmonious personality and comprehensive ability. In today's ideological trend of learning from American general education, how to carry forward the essence in practice historical process of China's general education is vital in particular. This thesis briefly describes the ancient and modern Chinese general education in the hope of providing reference for general education reform.关键词
