Abstract
Objective: To observe the efficacy of Sanqi Tongshu capsule combined with antiepileptic drug in clinical treatment of refractory epilepsy .Methods: ①129 cases of refractory epilepsy were selected and given treatment of Sanqi Tongshu capsule (0.2g, 3 times per day) combined with antiepileptic drug for two years and the curative effect of all patients was observed .②All of enrolled patients were divided into two group ( primary and secondary refractory epilepsy ) according to the etiology of intractable epilepsy .The ther-apeutic effect was observed after treatment of the two groups for two years .③The changes of blood flow in lo-cal lesions was compared in each group patients before and after treatment .Result:After 2 years of combined therapy, the total effective rate was 83.7%,of which the effective rate of primary refractory epilepsy was 90. 2%, the effective rate of secondary refractory epilepsy was only 59.2%.There were significant differences be-tween the two groups ( P <0.05) .The blood flow in local lesions improved significantly after 1 month treat-ment in primary refractory epilepsy group (P<0.01),but there was no significant improvement after 1 month treatment of secondary refractory epilepsy group ( P>0.05).Conclusion: Sanqi Tongshu capsule combined with antiepileptic drug has exact therapeutic effect on refractory epilepsy , especially for primary refractory ep-ilepsy .关键词
