Abstract
Objective:To compare and analyse the effect of giant uterine leiomyoma by laparoscopic and surgery.Method:133 patients, with giant uterine leiomyoma of 7cm to 12cm in diameter, were treated sur-gically from Jan.2009 to Dec.2013 in our hospital.Among them, 68 patients were treated by laparoscopic myomectomy , while other 65 patients were treated by surgery .The data of two groups were collected and ana-lyzed retrospectively .Result:There were significant differences between two groups in operative time , opera-tive blood loss , length of hospital stay , anal exhaust time , rate of postoperative complication and hemoglobin decrease ( P<0.05) .The data available showed that laparoscopic myomectomy was associated with less opera-tive blood loss , reduced length of hospital stay , and fewer rate of postoperative complications but longer oper-ation time( P<0.05) .Conclusion:The data demonstrates that laparoscopic surgery can be an appropriate op-tion for giant uterine leiomyoma with lower occurrence rate of complications .关键词
