男性低位直肠癌根治术保留盆腔自主神经对排尿及性功能的影响
Effects of Pelvic Autonomic Nerve Preservation in Radical Proctectomy for Low Rectal Cancer in Male Patients on the Urination and Sexual Function

Abstract
Objective:To investigate the protective effect of pelvic autonomic nerve preservation in radi-cal proctectomy for low rectal cancer in male patients on the urinary and sexual functions .Method:Eighty el-igible patients were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group , with 40 patients in each group .The control group used traditional radical proctectomy for rectal cancer , while the observation group used radical proctectomy for rectal cancer with pelvic autonomic nerves preserved , and the general conditions when operation and the urinary and sexual functions at 6 months after the surgery were observed and compared between the patients of the two groups .Result:The operative time of the patients in the obser-vation group was longer than that of the control group , and the difference was statistically significant ( P<0. 05);but the patients of the observation group , the intra-operative blood loss and distal margin were not in-creased and the number of lymph nodes cleared didn't decrease;the numbers were similar with those of the patients of the control group, and the differences were statistically insignificant (P>0.05).At 6 months after the surgeries , the urinary function , erectile function and ejaculatory function of the patients of the observation group were all significantly better than those of the control group ( P<0.05) .Conclusion:Radical proctecto-my for low rectal cancer with pelvic autonomic nerves preserved in male patients doesn't increase operation wound or decrease lymph node clearance rate , has protective effects on the urinary and sexual functions in the patients , and consequently is worthy of clinical application .关键词
