Abstract
Objective:To explore the correlation between the level of serum 1,25-( OH) 2 D3 and MMP-9 in children with asthma.Method:90 children with asthma were considered as asthma group, 30 healthy children were considered as control group.30 cases of mild persistent group, 30 cases of moderate persistent group and 30 cases of severe persistent group were chosen in the asthma children.The level of 1,25-( OH) 2 D3 and MMP-9 were measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay( ELISA) .Result:The level of 1,25-( OH) 2 D3 and MMP-9 in the persistent group was not correlated with the control group.The level of 1,25-( OH) 2 D3 and MMP-9 in the moderate persistent group and severe persistent group were correlated with the control group.Conclusion:1,25-( OH) 2 D3 can down-regulate the level of the MMP-9 and alleviate the established chronic asthma-induced airway remodeling, thus 1,25-( OH) 2 D3 can improve the lung function and treat the asthma.关键词
