Effect of Fibers on Fatigue Performance of Asphalt Rubber Mixture
摘要
Abstract
The four-point flexural bending test is conducted on compacted beam specimens through BFA with a pneumatic servo system. Effect of lignin fibers, polyester fibers, acrylic fibers on fatigue properties of mixtures is analyzed by using NfNM and Nf50. Besides, the effect of strain level and asphalt content on fatigue properties is investigated. The results indicate that fatigue life is improved to some extent with all types of fibers. In the 1100με, 1300με, 1500με, NfNM values have been increased more than 40%, 90%and 40%respectively. Positive correlation between fatigue life and asphalt content is found while negative correlation between fatigue life and strain level is identified.关键词
