Analysis of the direction finding error of the antagonizing decoy by ARM based on the MUSIC algorithm in multiple pulse sampling

Abstract
With a focus on the degraded performance of spectral estimation algorithms due to the strong correlation among data of radiation sources in a single pulse, when antagonizing radar active decoy systems, the system model of correlated data sampled in multiple pulses was established in this paper. By antagonizing the decoy through use of the MUSIC algorithm, the approximate value of the direction finding error is obtained by solving the expectation of the inverse of the matrix of random phases using the Taylor expansion in the case of multiple pulse samplings. Simu-lations show the difference between the efficiency ratio and its theoretical value of classical MUSIC as the number of pulses, the number of sources, the number of antennas and the incidence angle interval changes. The primary rea-son for the huge difference between the actual estimation error of the super-resolution algorithm related to ARM and its theoretical value is that less pulses are used.关键词
