Abstract
Aim:To study the application value of FOCUS harmonic scalpel in complex open thyroidectomy .Methods:A total of 465 cases who were to undergo complex open thyroidectomy were divided into FOCUS group (330 cases) and tradi-tion group(135 cases).The intraoperative bleeding volume, postoperative draining volume,the operation time, postoperative complications and the hospital stay after surgery of the two groups were compared .Results:Compared with tradition group , intraoperative bleeding volume , postoperative draining volume , the operation time and the hospital stay after surgery in FO-CUS group reduced(t=26.278,22.752,23.715,14.394,P<0.001).The rates of postoperative bleeding ,postoperative transi-ent hoarseness , temporary drinking water choking cough , and temporary low calcium causing numbness or convulsions de-creased in FOCUS group(P<0.05).Conclusion:FOCUS harmonic scalpel in complex open thyroidectomy has a clear ad-vantage in intraoperative bleeding volume , the operation time , and postoperative complications after surgery .关键词
