Effect of Salvianolate on Inflammatory Cytokines and Nerve Conduction Velocity in Diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy Patients

摘要

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the effect of salvianolate on inflammatory cytokines and nerve conduction velocity in diabetic periph-eral neuropathy patients. Methods:80 patients with diabetic peripheral neuropathy were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control groups,40 patients in each group. The control group of patients received insulin therapy,The experimental group were treated with salvianolate based on the control group. The levels of serum soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1(sICAM-1),interleu-kin-6(IL-6),nitric oxide(NO),endothelin-1(ET-1),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)were detected before and after treatment. The level of limb nerve conduction velocity(MNCV)and sensory conduction velocity(SNCV)were measured before and after treatment. Re-sults:The levels of serum soluble intercellular adhesion molecule-1(sICAM-1),interleukin-6(IL-6),endothelin-1(ET-1),tumor necro-sis factor-α(TNF-α)were higher after treatment compared with before treatment(P < 0. 05). The level of nitric oxide(NO)was lower after treatment compared with before treatment(P < 0. 05). The levels of limb nerve conduction velocity(MNCV)and sensory conduc-tion velocity(SNCV)were higher after treatment compared with before treatment(P < 0. 05). Conclusion:Salvianolate could effectively reduce the inflammation reaction and improve the nerve conduction velocity and clinical outcomes.
