摘要

Abstract

In order to better understand the velocity string performance in the gas well after service, the velocity string in a gas well served for 3 years was pulled out. It sampled from wellhead position and bottom location respectively to carry out performance tests, including appearance, wall thickness, metallographic, mechanical test, etc. The results showed that the velocity string after 3 year service, the pipe body was uniform corrosion, the weld properties were without deterioration. The tensile performance, flattening, expanding and hydrostatic test of sample pipe can still satisfy the requirements of API SPEC 5ST standard, and the fatigue performance did not decrease obviously. It indicated that under this well condition the velocity string after 3 years of service, the performance of pipe body can still meet the requirements of continuous service.
