Abstract
The dehydration kinetics from xylose to furfural with 0.1mol/L ferric chloride as catalyst was studied at temperature range from 443.15K to 483.15K. The kinetic model was established and tested,then the reaction rate constants of xylose dehydration,furfural degradation and condensation were obtained according to assumed kinetic model. The evaluated activation energies of these reactions were quantified via Arrhenius plots,and the values were 107.94kJ/mol,65.86kJ/mol and 26.36kJ/mol, respectively. The experimental results showed that high temperature and short time were beneficial to improve the furfural yield,and the maximum furfural yield of 78% was obtained at 483.15K and 60min.关键词
