Abstract

Sichuan is one of the most important phosphate base in China, is the fourth major phosphate origin following the Hubei, Yunnan and Guizhou. Mabian phosphorite has vast reserves, is the fourth among the eight largest phosphorite in China, and the industrial deposits are relatively concentrated. By December 2013, the total reserves at all levels was 0.9 billion tons. Transportation conditions, water, electricity, raw material supply and external conditions of cooperation can satisfy the need of mine development. In the Mabian phosphorite, application development and transportation mode is simple, mining method is reliable, beneficiation process is simple, and recovery rate of resources is high. The final product is the phosphate concentrate with P2O5 content of 30%or so. Phosphate concentrate can be transported to the middle and lower area of Yangtze River by using through processing road and pipe.
