Abstract
By electron beam irradiation of different doses of berberine herbs, to exam changes in the dissolution rate of the active ingredient, and by HPLC to compare irradiation finger-prints of berberine herbs before and after to determine the impact of radiation on the chemical composition.The results showed that taking 1 MeV, 0.67kGy/s dose rate, 40 kGy dose e-lectron beam irradiation, the active ingredient of berberine herbs significantly increased ( P<0.05).The fingerprint matching similarity was above 0.99, and the chemical composition was stable with no radiation derivatives.Therefore, the electron beam irradiation as a sec-ondary method to extract the active ingredient of berberine hydrochloride is an efficient and convenient process.关键词
