Screening for SSR Markers Linked to Wheat Powdery Mildew Resistance Gene Pm13

Abstract
To detect molecular markers closely linked to wheat powdery mildew resistance gene Pm13 ,bulked segregant analysis (BSA)was used to identify microsatellite (simple sequence repeats,SSR)markers in the F2 population from the cross Zhongda 01(resistant)×Jinguang 588 (susceptible).The results indicated that Pm13 in Zhongda 01 was located in the 3BS region, linked to five SSR markers BE398268,wmc674,cfa2226,gwm533·1 and BE471274 with the genetic distances of 0·5 cM,0·8 cM,1·6 cM,13·2 cM and 52·1 cM respectively.The molecular markers BE398268,wmc674,and cfa2226 closely linked to Pm13 can be used in maker-assisted selection(MAS)in wheat breeding program for powdery mildew resistance.关键词
