补肾化瘀汤治疗良性前列腺增生症40例临床观察
The Clinical Efficacy of Bushen Huayu Decoction on Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia：A Clinical Observation of 40 Cases

Abstract
Objective:To observe the efficacy of Bushen Huayu decoction on benign prostate hyperplasia. Methods: The 80 patients were randomly divided into treatment and control groups, 40 cases in each. Patients were treated by Bushen Huayu decoction in treatment group and Cernilton in control group. And 1 month for a course of treatment in two groups. In 3 courses, the international Prostate Symptom Score (IPSS), maximum urinary flow rate, prostate volume and serum insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) changes were observed in two groups. Results: The effectual rate was 86.5% and 55.1% respectively in treatment and control groups, with statistical significance (P<0.05).The international prostate symptom score (IPSS), maximum urinary flow rate, prostate volume and serum insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1)were improved both in the two groups, with statistical difference (P<0.05). And the treatment group showed more effective improvement than the control group, with statisti-cal difference (P<0.05). Conclusion: Bushen Huayu decoction can provide good efficacy for benign prostatic hyperplasia and effectively improve the symptoms.关键词
