摘要

Abstract

The Yemaochong copper deposit in the Wanzai County ,Jiangxi Province ,is an alteration-type copper deposit which was formed by medium-low temperature hydrothermal solution (ore-forming fluid) alteration along tectonics fractures .On the basis of the surface geological survey ,observation of drilling cores and identification of rocks and minerals , the ore-controlling structure in the Yamaochong copper deposit was researched in detail .It is shown that the large-scale NEE-strike imbricated nappe (gli-ding nappe) structure controlled the deepening and distribution of all the geological units ,and the NE-strike ductile shear deformable zones dominated the distribution of Au-Cu ore bodies in the area .The Au-Cu ore bodies with stratoid shapes were hosted in secandary-interlayer fracture zones and minor fractures between ductile shear zones ,where more intensive dynamo-thermal metamorphism ,silicification ,sericiti-zation and chloritization were developed .The ores are mainly consisted of chalcopyrites and poor in sulfur .The ore-forming fluids are characterized by multiphase activities and superimposed reformation .More than 20 copper polymetallic ore deposits (occurrences) have been found in the Shangli-Tanbu-Yifeng fault zone from west to east ,showing great prospecting potentials of the zone .
