Study on Preparation,Characterization and Comminution Mechanism of Nano-sized CL-20

Abstract
Nano-sized 2,4,6,8,10,12-hexanitro-2,4,6,8,10,12-hexaazaisowurtzitane (CL-20 )was prepared using a bi-directional rotation mill method.The scanning electron microscope (SEM)and the laser particle size analyzer were used to characterize the morphology and size distribution of the nano-sized CL-20.GJB 772A-97 methods were adopted to test its mechanical sensitivity.The comminution mechanism of the nano-sized CL-20 was analyzed.Results show that the prepared particles are semi-spherical at the size of about 100 nm with a narrow particle size distribution.The crystal form of the nano-sized particles is epsilon (ε)as the same with the micron-sized particles.In comparison with the micron-sized CL-20, the friction,impact and shock sensitivities of nano-sized CL-20 decrease by 25 .0%,116.2% and 58.1 %,respectively.关键词
