Abstract
In order to reduce the impact of the harmonic current caused by nonlinear load on grid quality, a novel control strategy is proposed for DC voltage balance control based on multi-level cascaded APF. The balance control is divided into two parts, namely module mean voltage controller and DC bus voltage controller. By adjusting the active power exchanges between each H-bridge and the active power exchange between active power filter and the grid, the DC capacitor voltage balance is achieved. With this method, an eight-unit cascaded H-bridge module is simulated on Matlab/Simulink, while a three-unit cascaded H-bridge prototype is built on the experimental platform based on FPGA+DSP. Simulation and experimental results show that the DC voltage balance control based on multi-level cascaded APF is valid and practical.关键词
