摘要

Abstract

Finite Element models of the steel bridge decks are developed according to the orthotropic steel decks used in a steel truss arched railway bridge.Based on the results derived from the finite element calcula-tion and analysis,the most unfavorable locations where the maximum tensile stresses occur in the steel bridge decks were slected as the inspection points.The stress time-history curves and the maximum stress ranges of the inspection points under the simulated moving load of high speed trains were obtained.The maximum stress ranges derived from the stress time-history analysis were analyzed and assessed based on the fatigue design curves recommended by the AASHTO and Eurocode 3.Results reveal that the fatigue stress at the all inspec-tion points of the steel deck conforms to the corresponding fatigue detail regulations provided in the AASHTO and Eurocode3.It is concluded that the fatigue resistance of the bridge deck conforms to the fatigue safety re-quirements during the operation period.
