摘要

Abstract

It is an innovative connection type for using reassembled pins as beam connections in steel building structures.Based on current research,the paper studied the load-bearing capacity of the new split-joint and the limit state of pin connections.Based on the interaction of the dual-pin,a method for the ultimate bearing capacity calculation of double pins was proposed.A simplified formula was derived for calculating the ultimate capacity of split-joint.The calculation method and steps were described.The nonlinear finite element method was adopted in analyzing the mechanical property of the split-joint.The calculation method was verified by comparing the results from the simplified calculation and the finite element method.
