摘要

Abstract

In recent years,the joint stiffness of the spatial structures has become one of the major research in the field of building engineering.In this paper,a state-of-the-art review of research on the joint stiffness is presented,including the mathematical models,the rigid properties of different joint systems,the models for members with the semi-rigid joints and the classifications for the joint stiffness.The research findings and fur-ther research concerns are presented as well.In general,the research work on the beam-to-column joints of steel frames is relatively mature,and the research results have been used in some specifications.However,the research on the joint stiffness of the spatial structures still cannot meet the demands of modern structures. Therefore,for the application and the development of spatial structures,more experimental and theoretical studies need to be carried out to improve the design theory and technique of the modern spatial structures.
