摘要

Abstract

The performance-based seismic design is an important seismic design method in recent years .This method was used in structural design of an ultra-high office building in Nanxu Zhengjiang City .The selection and achievement of seismic performance objectives of the structure and the calculation analysis were discussed in the paper .Calculations and engineering judgments were first provided to locate weak positions of the struc -ture.Corresponding strengthening measures were taken , which were the the main considerations in the per-formance-based seismic design .
