摘要

Abstract

Individuation and small-batch production are future trend of stone process with the development of luxury,atypical and artistic design in the stone industry.Design of irregular diamond grinding wheel becomes a key technology to machine the irregular stone.Taking irregular stones used in architectural design as an example,the dimension of irregular diamond grinding wheels was design based on architectural renderings with reversal design method. Considering the effect of wheel manufacturing process,the diamond wheels were further modified.Finally,reverse design process, from architectural renderings to the irregular diamond grinding wheel design,were carried out.The result provided a reference for the design of irregular diamond grinding wheel.
