Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of early Chinese herb by humid wet compressing in the treatment of residual pain after lumbar disc herniation. Methods 106 cases of patients who processed posterior discectomy of lumbar disc herniation in our hospital from February 2010 to February 2013 were selected,and were randomly divided into treatment group and control group with 53 cases in each group.The control group were adopted conventional thera-py and rehabilitation exercise.On the basis of the conventional theray,the treatment group were taken with Chinese herb by humid wet compressing in early phase.Then the clinical effect of two groups after one and six months was respec-tively compared.Results Two groups were followed up on time after treatment.The excellent rate of the treatment group was 92.45% after one month,the control group was 73.58%;after six months,the excellent rate of treatment group was 92.45%,the control group was 71.70%.The excellent rate of treatment group after one and six months was higher htan that of control group respectively,the difference was significant (P﹤0.01). Conclusion Adopting Chinese herb by humid wet compressing for patients taken posterior discectomy of lumbar disc herniation can obviously reduce the occurrence of postoperative residual pain,and the operation is simple,safe and economic,has less side effect,thus this theray is worth to be generalized in clinic.关键词
