Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of integrated management of surgical instruments in central sterile supply department. Methods Integrated management of surgical instruments in central sterile supply department was implemented in our hospital from January to December 2013,the disinfection,packaging,sterilization,distribution of all surgical instruments were developed by sterile supply room staff;and traditional management mode of surgical instruments was used from January to December 2012,the cleaning,disinfection,packaging of surgical instruments was developed by operating room staff,and then package was sent to the supply room for sterilization. Before and after (2012,2013) integrated management,600 packets were randomly selected for quality inspection;the package qualified rate,cleaning qualified rate,sterilization qualified rate before and after management were compared,the loss and wastage of surgical instruments were analyzed,and the surgeon satisfaction on surgical instrument management was investigated. Results After management,the packaging,cleaning,sterilization qualified rate of surgical instruments were significantly higher than those before management,the differences were significant (P<0.05);the loss,wastage volume and replace frequency were significantly less than those before management,surgeon satisfaction was significantly higher than that before management,the differences were significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Integrated management of surgical instruments in central sterile supply department can improve management efficiency of surgical instruments,improve the sterilization qualified rate,reduce loss and wastage volume of surgical instruments,it is worthy of application.关键词
