Abstract
Objective To study the expression and clinical significance of human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 (HER2) proteinin bladder urothelial cell carcinoma. Methods Immunohistochemical SP was used to detect the expres-sion of HER2 in bladder urothelial cell carcinoma of 62 cases and normal bladder mucosa of 23 cases.The relationship between HER2 and the development,pathologic grade and clinical stage of bladder urothelial cell carcinoma was ana-lyzed. Results The positive expression rate of HER2 in bladder urothelial cell carcinoma was 43.5%,was higher than that in normal bladder mucosa (P<0.05).The positive expression of HER2 was associated with the pathological grade, clinical stage and recurrenceof bladder urothelial cell carcinoma (P<0.05). Conclusion The over-expression of HER2 is related to the development of human bladder urothelial cell carcinoma.Detection of HER2 expression may have great value in predicting the prognosis and selecting treatment for bladder urothelial cell carcinoma.关键词
