Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of insulin pump treatment on homocysteine (HCY) and C-reactive pro-tein (CRP) in patients with type 2 diabetes. Methods 52 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes (diabetes group) and 30 cases of healthy subjects (control group) were selected,serum levels of HCY and CRP were detected.Levels of HCY and CRP were measured again after continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion treatment for six days. Results The serum HCY and CRP level of diabetes group were higher than those of control group (P<0.05).After six days treatment,HCY and CRP were lower than those before treatment (P<0.05).HCY level was positively associated with CRP (r=0.649,P<0.05). Conclusion The increase of serum HCY and CRP level are independent risk factors for diabetic vascular dis-ease,continuous subcutaneous insulin infusion treatment can improve HCY and CRP level.关键词
