Abstract
Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of Yanhuning and ribavirin in the treatment of children with acute respiratory infection. Methods 203 children with acute respiratory infection admitted to our hospital from January 2012 to January 2014 were selected and randomly divided into the study group (102 patients) and the control group (101 patients).The study group were given with Yanhuning treatment on the basis of conventional symptomatic support-ive treatment,the control group were given with ribavirin treatment on the basis of conventional symptomatic supportive treatment.The disappearance time of clinical symptoms and signs and the treatment effects of the two groups were ana-lyzed comparatively,and the adverse reactions during the treatment period were observed. Results The disappearance time of various symptoms and signs of the study group was shorter than that of the control group,with significant differ-ence between the two groups (P<0.05).The total effective rate of the study group was 94.12% and that of the control group was 76.23%,the total effective rate of the study group was higher than that of the control group,with significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).No severe adverse reactions occurred in the two groups and the adverse re-actions of the study group were less and slighter than those of the control group. Conclusion Yanhuning injection can effectively treat the children with acute respiratory infection,has the advantages of remarkably shorter treatment time and less adverse reactions,and is safe and reliable,thereby of important clinical value and worthy of clinical promotion and application.关键词
