Abstract
Objective To observe effect of blood-letting puncture and cupping combined with Chinese herbal medicine in the treatment of postherpetic neuralgia (PHN)in qi stagnation and blood stasis pattern. Methods Eighty patients with PHN in qi stagnation and blood stasis pattern at outpatient clinic of dermatological department in our hospital were se-lected and randomly divided into treatment group and control group.Blood-letting puncture and cupping combined with oral administration of Chinese herbal medicine were applied in treatment group,while oral administration of mecobal-amine and cimetidine and intramuscular injection of vitamin B12 were provided in control group.After 30-day of treat-ment,the therapeutic effect was evaluated in both groups. Results The total effective rate in treatment group was 92.5%, while total effective rate in control group was 77.5%,with statistical difference (P<0.05). Conclusion Pricking and cup-ping combined with Chinese herbal medicine in the treatment of PHN in qi stagnation and blood stasis pattern has sig-nificant effect.关键词
