Abstract
Objective To explore the application effect of improved disposable infusion device in urethral catheteriza-tion with urinary retention caused by prostate hyperplasia. Methods 108 patients with urinary retention due to benign prostatic hyperplasia in our hospital from January 2012 to December 2013 were selected and randomly divided into two groups.54 patients in experimental group was treated with improved catheterization of disposable infusion,54 patients in control group was treated with double lumen balloon catheter catheterization. Results The success rate of first catheteri-zation in experimental group was 100.0%,significantly higher than that in control group (59.3%),with significant differ-ence(P<0.05);The degree of pain in experimental group was significantly lower than that in control group (P<0.05);The incidence rate of urethral mucosa in experimental group was significantly lower than that in control group (P<0.05);Not adhesion in 1 case of urinary tract infection after catheterization in experimental group,the adhesion rate was 1.8%,4 cases of urinary tract infections and 1 case of urinary tract infection with adhesion in control group,urinary tract infec-tion or the adhesion rate was 9.3%,there was significant difference between two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion Improved disposable transfusion device applied in benign prostatic hyperplasia can improve the success rate of one-time catheter-ization in patients with urinary retention,reduce the pain of patients and complication,protect the privacy of the patient, convenient irrigation of bladder and urine specimens and nursing operation.关键词
