摘要
Abstract
Objective To compare the efficacy of identification between bipolarity index and DSM-Ⅴ criteria in screening patients with bipolar disorder. Methods 120 patients with depression from June 2012 to December 2013 in outpatients department and inpatient department of our hospital were selected as research subjects. The bipolarity index (BPX),the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders Fifth Edition (DSM-Ⅴ) and the International Classifi-cation of Diseases Tenth Edition about diseases and related health issues (ICD-10) were applied for the assessment. With the clinical diagnosis of ICD-10 as criteria, the screening sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of BPX and DSM-Ⅴ was compared respectively, and multivariate Logistic regression analysis was applied to analyze the risk factors for bipolar disorder. Results Screening sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of BPX was 84.62%,82.98%,83.33%,57.89% and 95.12% re-spectively.Screening sensitivity, specificity, accuracy, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of DSM-Ⅴwas 38.46%,96.81%,84.17%,76.92%and 85.05%respectively.Atypical depression, the history of suicide attempt, the to-tal times of past emotional attack more than 4 times as well as complete remission of diseases were high risk factors for patients with bipolar disorder. Conclusion Bipolarity index has favorable sensitivity and specificity in screening pa-tients with bipolar disorder, which is helpful for improving the identification rate of patients with bipolar disorder.关键词
