Abstract
Objective To explore the clinical effect of applying micro-incision proximal femoral nail anti-rotation (PF-NA) to treat elderly intertrochanteric fractures. Methods From February 2011 to February 2013,46 elderly patients with intertrochanteric fractures visited our hospital for treatment were selected and evenly divided into two groups in ran-dom.In control group,dynamic hip screw (DHS) was provided after being admitted,while in observation group,micro-in-cision PFNA was adopted.The position opening of vertex of greater trochanter was improved,the incision was shortened into 2 centimeter,and the wound was greatly alleviated.The therapeutic effect between two groups was compared re-spectively. Results The favorable therapeutic rate in observation group was 91.3%,much higher than 47.8% in control group.The incidence of postoperative complications in observation group was 13%,while the incidence in control group was 69.6%.The incidence of complications in observation group was greatly lower than that in observation group. Con-clusion Micro-incision PFNA can obtain a remarkable effect on treating elderly intertrochanteric fractures,at advan-tages of simple and easy in operation,small wound,short period,and quick recovery,which is worthy of promotion in clinic.关键词
