Abstract
Objective To compare the clinical efficacy and safety of aerosol inhalation and intravenous infusion of Am-broxol on treating neonatal meconium aspiration pneumonia. Methods Sixty neonates with meconium aspiration pneu-monia treated in our hospital were selected. According to different therapeutic methods, they were evenly divided into two groups in random. In aerosol inhalation group,Ambroxol of aerosol inhalation was provided, while in intravenous in-fusion group, intravenous infusion of Ambroxol was applied. The clinical therapeutic effect, disappearing time of clinical symptoms, and occurrence of adverse reactions after treatment were compared. Results After therapy, the total effective rate in the aerosol inhalation group and intravenous infusion group was 93.33% and 90.00%respectively,with no statis-tical difference (P>0.05). In the aerosol inhalation group, time of dyspnea alleviating, time of moist rale disappearing, time of cyanosis disappearing, recovery time of oxyhemoglobin saturation, hospital stay and the frequency of sputum suctioning was (3.39±1.18) d,(6.71±1.09) d,(1.19±0.50) d,(1.08±0.82) d,(8.09±2.27) d,(3.17±1.06) times, while these indexes in the intravenous infusion group was (4.63±1.52) d,(8.42±1.68) d,(2.43±0.57) d,(1.82±0.88) d,(9.84±2.51) d,(4.61±1.49) times. The indexes in the former group were all shorter than those in the latter one accordingly with statistical differences (P<0.05). There was no adverse reaction occurred after medication in the two groups. Conclusion The clinical effect on treating neonatal meconium aspiration pneumonia by aerosol inhalation is superior to that by intravenous infusion, and the former one can effectively improve neonatal clinical symptoms.关键词
