English Learning Burnout and Its Correlative Factors among Students at Western Local University
摘要
Abstract
Objective To explore the English learning burnout among students at western local university .Methods Atotal of 222 students were surveyed by using the English Language Learning Burnout Scale .Results ①English learning burnout was slightly above medium level②Freshmen gained significantly higher scores in total burnout (t=3.874,P<0.01),exhaustedness(t=4.657,P<0.01) and low self-efficiency(t=3.343,P<0.01)than sophomores.③Students at A level gained significantly higher scores in total burnout (t=3.768,P<0.01),exhaustedness(t=4..448,P<0.01)and low self-efficiency(t=4.775,P<0.01)than students at B level.④and there were no significant differences between different genders and between different majors (P<0.05).Conclusion English burn-out exists widely in students ’ English learning at western local university .Students in different grades and with different English learning proficiency wave chown significant differences in English learning burnout .关键词
