Abstract
Objective To explore the relationship between English majors'self-congruence and achievement motivation ,for the aim of training of English majors'healthy psychological quality .Methods A total of 279 English majors were surveyed through the Self Con-sistency and Congruence Scale (SCCS)as well as Achievement Motivation Scale (AMS).Results There were significant correlations be-tween students'self-congruence and achievement motivation .Pursuit of success ( MS) correlated negatively with both the total score of self-incongruence and the total score of self -congruence(r=-0.159,-0.259;P<0.01),but it correlated positively with the total score of self-flexibility(r=0.331,P<0.01);MF correlated positively with both the total score of self -incongruence and the total score of self-congruence(r=0.137,0.128;P<0.05).Conclusion There is a significant correlation between English majors'achievement mo-tivation and self-congruence .The reasonable regulation of achievement motivation helps to promote English majors 'psychological harmo-ny degree,and then promotes the ascension of psychological health level .关键词
