Reliability and Validity of Sub-Health Measurement Scale Version1.0 in Evaluation of Sub-Health of College Students

Abstract
Objective To assess the reliability and validity of Sub-Health Measurement Scale Version 1.0(SHMS V1.0)in the e-valuation of sub-health of college students.Methods The spot trial was performed among 1200 college students in South of China for the study of Cronbach's αcoefficient,split-half reliability,construct validity,content validity and criterion-related validity of SHMS V1.0.Results The Cronbach'sαcoefficient was 0.904 and the split-half reliability was 0.778.There were high correlations between each item of SHMS V1.0 and its dimension(r=0.643~0.879),but low correlations between items and other dimensions,the correlation coefficient was(r=0.071~0.416).Dimension scores were correlated significantly with its subscale(r=0.562 ~0.917).The nine fac-tors obtained from factor analysis were basically consistent with the original theoretical conception about SHMS V1.0 and the correlation coefficient between SHMS V1.0 and SF-36 was 0.739(P<0.01).Conclusion SHMS V1.0 is a reliable and valid measurement scale for evaluating sub-health of college students.关键词
