Relationships among College Adjustment,Resilience and Mental Health in Freshmen

Abstract
Objective To explore relationships among college adjustment,resilience and mental health of freshmen.Methods 2002 freshmen were investigated by Chinese College Student Adjustment Scale,Conner-Davidson Resilience Scale,University Personality In-ventory(UPI) and Self-rating Depression Scale.Results ①Significant gender differences were found in UPI(F=10.59,P<0.001), significant differences of origin of student were found in depression(F=5.17,P<0.05),significant differences of single child or not were found in college adjustment(F=5.9,P<0.05);②Resilience was a partial mediated factor in the relationship between college ad-justment and mental health.Conclusion College adjustment has a direct effect and an indirect effect through resilience on mental health of freshmen.关键词
