Relationship among College Students'Mobile Phone Addiction Tendency,Life Events and Social Support

Abstract
Objective To study the relationship between college students'mobile phone addiction tendency, life events and social support.Methods By reference cell phone addiction tendency scale(hereinafter referred to as MPATS),adolescent life event scale and social support rating scale for Sichuan region,a random sample of more than 391 college students conducted a questionnaire survey.Re-sults ①There were significant differences in the factors of life events between various tendency of mobile phone addiction( t=4.762, 3.755,2.412,2.079,3.461,5.565,4.519;P<0.05),while there were no significant differences in the life factors of social support be-tween various tendency of mobile phone addiction.②Factors of mobile phone addiction tendency were significantly positively related to that of life events(r=0.292,0.259,0.165,0.141,0.195,0.334,0.288;P<0.01),not to that of social support.③Factors of the life e-vents,such as others,interpersonal relationship,punishment,learning pressure,could be used to predict mobile phone addiction tendency in college students(t=5.134,2.428,-3.902,2.512;P<0.05).Conclusion College students'mobile phone addiction tendency is re-lated to life events,and the relationship between students'mobile phone addiction tendency and social support is weak.关键词
