Abstract
Objective:To explore the relationship between aggressive behaviors and executive function in the inpatients with schizophrenia.Methods:142 schizophrenic inpatients were evaluated with Modified Overt Aggression scale(MOAS)and divided into aggression group(n=62)and non-aggression group(n=80)according to the results of MOAS.Wisconsin Card Sorting test(WCST)and Positive and Negative syndrome Scale( PANSS) were used to assess executive function and clinical symptoms and analyze rela-tive factors of aggressive behaviors. Results:There were no statistical significances in sex, marriage status, education level, occupation, age and course of disease between the two groups.Aggression group showed higher scores in PANSS total, positive scale, negative scale and general psychopathology scale than non-aggression group(t=5.193,3.926,2.419,2.983;P<0.01).Aggression group showed higher scores in random errors, perseverative errors and complete 1st category than non -aggression group(t =3.445, 5.809,2.703;P<0.01).While the number of correct classification and number of correct response were significantly lower in aggression group than in non-aggression group(t=-2.449,-2.468; P<0.01). MOAS scores showed significantly positively correlated with total scores, scores of positive scale, negative scale, psychopathology scale of PANSS (r=0.391,0.472,0.257,0.418;P<0.01)and scores of catego-ries completed, nonperseverative errors, perseverative errors, total correct responses and trials to compete first category of MOAS(r=0.382,0.315,0.438,0.240,0.423;P<0.01).Conclusion:Aggressive be-haviors in schizophrenic patients are closely correlated with the impairment of executive function.Schizo-phrenic inpatients with aggressive behaviors show more deficits in executive function.关键词
