Abstract
Objective:To explore the role of perceived organization support in the predicative effect of proactive personality to work engagement .Methods:257 young clinicians were surveyed with 3 scales:U-trecht Work Engagement Scale , Proactive Personality Scale , and Survey of Perceive Organizational Sup-port .Results:①Subjects'work engagement was relatively positive ,and three dimensions in descending se-quence were dedication , vigor and absorption .② The differences of work engagement in gender ( F =3.759,P=0.056),age(F=1.857,P=0.174) and academic qualification (F =0.442,P=0.643) were not statistically significant , and interactions were not significant either ( Fgender*age =0.666, P =0.415;Fgender*quali =1.713,P=0.183;Fage*quali =0.733,P=0.482;Fgender*age*quali =1.110,P=0.332).③Proactive personality positively predicted work engagement (β=0.270,t=4.926,P=0.000),and per-ceived organization support played a moderate role .However, the moderating effect seemed nonlinear (β=0.203,t=3.061,P =0.002) and curvilinear (β=0.327,t =5.113,P =0.000).Conclusion:The predicative effect of proactive personality to work engagement is moderated by perceived organization sup -port.关键词
