Characteristics of Stroop Task in Schizophrenia Patients

Abstract
Objective:To explore the characteristics of Stroop task in schizophrenia patients and their relationship with the clinical features.Methods:A total of 84 schizophrenia patients with different gender were selected randomly to take Stroop task,and assessed with PANSS.Results:①The difference between three kinds of Stroop cards in reaction time( H=79.491,P=0.000) and reaction errors( H=93.519,P=0 .000 ) had statistical significance;②The positive correlation between age of patients and reaction time of Stroop cards had significant statistical meaning( P<0.05);③The correlations between psychopatholo-gy scale score and reaction time of Stroop card1(r=0.225,P=0.040),item anger score and reaction time of Stroop card2(r=-0.226,P=0.039),reaction errors of Stroop card3(r=-0.251,P=0.021)were statistically significant.Conclusion:The correlation between Stroop effect and age of schizophrenia pa-tients accords with characteristic of human cognition;Stroop effect isn't affected by age of onset and course of disease,but may be influenced by emotional states of schizophrenia patients.关键词
