Abstract
Cerebral ischemia injury and Parkinson's disease ( PD) are the aging-related diseases found to develop often in the central nervous system ( CNS) .Neuroinflammation is one of the critical pathological changes of cerebral ischemia and PD.The 5-lipoxygenase ( 5-LOX ) is a key enzyme metabolizing arachidonic acid to produce potent proinflammatory mediators cysteinyl leukotriene (CysLTs).Recent studies have shown that 5-LOX is involved in the pathological process of cerebral ischemia and PD .关键词
