摘要

Abstract

Using two hybrid cultivars zhengdan 958 and xianyu 335 as experimental materials, by artificial aging method, seed vigor indexes, embedded substance content and physiological indexes of maize seeds were studied. The results showed that germination rate, germination index and vigor index of zhengdan 958 and xianyu 335 seeds were reduced gradually with seed aging, and dropped to zero on the eighth day. Peroxidase activities, catalase activities and dehydrogenase activities of zhengdan 958 and xianyu 335 seeds reduced gradually. Malonaldehyde content and conductance in⁃creased gradually. Content of crude fat and content of soluble protein increased at first and then de⁃creased. Content of organic acid increased at the overall level. Content of prolin increased gradually and then decreased obviously on the eighth day. The changes of soluble sugar were not regular. Cor⁃relation analysis showed that vigor indexes and organic acid content of xianyu 335 seeds were nega⁃tively correlated. Correlation between seed vigor indexes and physiological indexes was significant or extremely significant.
