摘要

Abstract

Obj ective :To clarify the regulated spatiotemporal expression patterns of N-cadherin,cadherin-6 and cadherin-7 in the spinal cord during chicken embryonic development.Methods :Spinal cords at E3,E4,E5 ,E6,E8 and E10 were collected during chicken embryonic development.The expression patterns of N-cadherin,cadherin-6 and cadherin-7 were investigated with in situ hybridization in the spinal cord at different embryonic stages.Results :From E3 to E6,the signal of N-cadherin was detected in the neuroepithelium,dermatome,notochord,roof plate,floor plate and dorsal root ganglion.It was mainly expressed in the gray matter from E8 to E10.Cadherin-6 was mainly expressed in the dermatome,roof plate and floor plate from E3 to E5 .Then the positive signal was mainly exhibited in the motor column.Cadherin-7 was mainly expressed in the dermatome,floor plate,dorsal domain of the basal plate,motor column,and dorsal and ventral roots at early stages. Cadherin-7 was mainly expressed in the gray matter and ventral root from E8 to E10.Conclusion:Different expression patterns of N-cadherin,cadherin-6 and cadherin-7 mean their diverse roles in the spinal cord and its surrounding tissues during chicken embryonic development.
