摘要

Abstract

Wireless Sensor Network ( WSN ) is widely used in military surveillance, environmental monitoring and remote medical fields. However, due to the problem of size, the impact of monitoring environment and other factors, wireless sensor nodes can carry limited energy. Consequently, in order to prolong the lifetime of the network, energy balancing becomes a hot topic in WSN. In this paper, based on the classic shortest time divisible load scheduling, it optimizes the divisible load model of residual energy for star WSN,and two load schedule algorithms are designed for the star topology and divisible load WSN:Residual-energy-sorting Schedule ( RESS ) algorithm and Virtual-Ability-Sorting Schedule ( VASS) algorithm. Simulation result shows that RESS and VASS algorithm can both prolong the network lifetime effectively,what’ s more,VASS algorithm is more stable than RESS algorithm.
