摘要

Abstract

As a new detection and location human target behind walls method, the ultra-wideband through wall radar is widely applied in the military and civilian field. However, weak object echo signal are often obscured the strong background noise. In order to realize moving target detection, an effective background cancellation method is need to seek. And the method can enhance the signal noise ration and highlight the moving target signal. Based on researching the feature of echo signal, the paper introduced a algorithm to remove the background noise of echo signal based on adaptive Infinite Impulse Response(IIR)filter. The method combines with the advantage of IIR and adaptive filter. The data is collected using SIR20 radar and the proposed algorithm is used to process the data. The result shows the algorithm is valid and can highlight the target signal. The algorithm is benefit to detect and locate target.
