摘要

Abstract

In order to reduce the energy consumption of nodes and prolong the lifetime of wireless sensor networks ( WSN ) , a routing protocol based on CPSO is proposed .The protocol improves the cluster-head selection mechanism based on the Low Ener-gy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH), it considers some factors like nodes ’ residual energy, distance to base station.It optimizes cluster-head selection by CPSO and then optimizes the communication between base station and cluster -head by multi-hop algorithm .The simulation results show that the new protocol can save energy and prolong the lifetime of WSN compared with the LEACH.
