B-spline surfaces reconstruction of arbitrary topological type
摘要
Abstract
In order to solve the surface modeling problem of complex objects in industrial design,this paper presented a low order tensor product spline surface reconstruction algorithm.First,it parametrized the arbitrary topological shape scattered data points three times differently to obtain the quadrilateral control mesh.Then,it used the bi-quadratic and bi-cubic tensor product B-spline to fit and used the distance function in the fitting process to control the fitting error.Finally,it got a smooth surface. This method could reconstruct the initial scattered points directly,it was simple and implement easily.Besides,the efficiency was high,the reconstructed B-spline surface satisfied the tangent plane continuity.Compared with previous methods,this meth-od can obtain accurate result surface,it improves the quality and efficiency of the surface modeling.关键词
