Hybrid mesh generation algorithm for viscous computations of complex aerodynamics configurations
摘要
Abstract
A hybrid mesh generation algorithm is proposed for viscous computations of three-dimensional complex aerodynamics models .An initial surface mesh is generated by an advancing front triangulator . Then the boundary layer is configured with anisotropic prismatic elements by an advancing layer mesher . In this step ,focuses are on the management of local complex geometric details ,aiming at improvement of robustness and quality of boundary layer elements .After boundary layer mesh generation ,the unmeshed region ,i .e .,the far field of the computational domain ,is filled with isotropic tetrahedral elements by employing a Delaunay-type mesher .Finally ,meshes and simulation results of two benchmarks are presen-ted to demonstrate the efficiency and effectiveness of the proposed algorithm .关键词
