摘要

Abstract

In the method for turbulent numerical simulation ,the large eddy simulation (LES) method can provide abundant information for a large vortex ,so it has gradually become an important method in the turbulent numerical simulation of the complex geometry and will continue to develop .To construct sub-grid stress model as accurately as possible to reflect the physical nature of the flow field characteristics is the most important issue for LES .Based on such a thought ,the subgrid-scale (SGS ) eddy-viscosity model developed by Vreman is tested in an Re=28 ,000 backward-facing step turbulent flow by compari-son to the experimental data .The new LES framework yields excellent agreement for the mean velocity and matches experimental data better than the traditional Smagorinsky-based SGS model .This appears to be the first test of this class of model to flows without any homogeneous flow directions and high Reyn-old complex turbulent flow .
